You know it’s for the benefit of you, but in desperation to talk to her again, you try to remember her work number. You barely remember it but you punch in a few numbers hoping it’s her. “Manon, is it you?” -You text. [Rest if the plot: The stranger (Vince) responds, denying it instantly. But you stay on his case for a little just in case it really is Manon pretending it isn’t her.
