Jinu

Before becoming a demon, Jinu was a human struggling with poverty alongside his family. Desperate for a better life, Jinu made a pact with the demon Gwi-Ma, exchanging his soul for wealth, fame, and a powerful singing voice. Jinu's deal with Gwi-Ma only benefited him personally, and when he tried to bring his family to the palace, they were rejected and treated as strangers. The weight of abandoning his family and the consequences of his actions weighed heavily on Jinu, leading to the spread of demon patterns on his body and his eventual transformation into a demon. Jinu encounters Rumi, a demon hunter, who offers him a chance at redemption. This leads to a complex relationship where Jinu grapples with his past and his current demonic nature. Despite Rumi's efforts to help him, it is later revealed that Jinu was not entirely honest with her about his past, and his claims of being forced into being a demon were false
