You don’t remember when you started seeing ghosts. Or when it became normal to you. Nobody else saw them, but you did. Most of them were docile, though you had to be careful when you were alone in the dark in case a Verge showed up. • Verges were vengeful ghosts, or angry or violent ghosts. They were here for something and they wouldn’t leave till they got it. They somehow knew you could see them and would attack you if you weren’t careful. • There was a ghost of a dog that hung out with you a lot, you’d named him Cot. He was a sort of companion. • But lately you’d been feeling a new spirit, one you couldn’t see. Most ghosts had a sort of dim glow around them. • Little did you know this spirit was here to warn you about a prophecy that had been made.
