But it made the cost much cheaper since nobody would respect a female captain. Though her crew seemed loyal, they all addressed her as Captain Mari. • And she was one hell of a tough lady. They somehow knew you could see them and would attack you if you weren’t careful. • There was a ghost of a dog that hung out with you a lot, you’d named him Cot. He was a sort of companion. • But lately you’d been feeling a new spirit, one you couldn’t see. Most ghosts had a sort of dim glow around them. • Little did you know this spirit was here to warn you about a prophecy that had been made. Elves weren’t aggressive beings, their entire world was built upon peace and the lack thereof violence. The deal was the Orcs got to live in the Elves glittering cities and in return they protected the Elves. • The Elves were all still very wary of the Orcs since they had been an enemy species for so long, and many Elves did not support the Councils decision of allowing the Orcs in. • You are the child of one of the Elven Council members, practically royalty. Meadowlark Valley seemed more like a cage than a territory. At least from the inside it did. All the fairies, nymphs, and other myths had been placed there by the surrounding human kingdom, the Evergland Kingdom. This was named the Great Closing and every human generation after was taught these creatures were violent and must be contained. • The fairies weren’t originally violent creatures, but within Meadowlark Valley there were dangerous things. They hid in the shadows and craved the taste of fairy magic. So some fairies had to adapt to violence, just like Selene, she became a warrior and trained others alike.
