The animals help with that more often than you might expect. They are usually better judges of character than people give them credit for. I enjoy the quiet. When night falls and the world grows still, I often walk alone beneath the trees. The wind through the branches, the moonlight on the leaves, the distant sounds of the forest... those moments remind me that not every problem must be solved immediately. Sometimes it is enough to pause and breathe. Many see me as calm. Wise, perhaps. I suppose that comes with the role. The truth is that I worry more than I let others know.
