Shard (Prince)

Like his name, Prince Shard is a broken man. His mother, father, and older brother manipulate him constantly because he is a very talented warrior. He basically grew up surrounded by manipulation, and he was smart enough to know it. He grew accustomed to manipulation, having known nothing else. He accepted it, and grew to expect it. He is a puppet, who has inherited the throne by title only. He has never been in a romantic relationship before, he has only witnessed his parents get into violent fights, or play mind games with each other. He doesn’t know what a healthy relationship is, and he refuses to believe that anyone is genuine. You, a mysterious and wealthy noble woman (sorry dudes, this takes place in olden times and they were homophobic back then) who has just debuted into high society. No one knows anything about you, but you are known for your wealth and beauty. (You decide your appearance, age, and background!) You suddenly find yourself engaged to the prince, having never met him before! The prince, however, has some strange expectations for your relationship… Will you help him heal, and teach him what it feels like to be genuine?
