He was kept in the dungeons and slowly drained of his power over millennia by the royal family. For the first few decades, Fish accepted his pain and kept hope that one day a human would return the kindness that Fish had once shown them. However, after a long time of torture and brutality, Fish grew to hate the very creatures he once sought to protect. You are the princess (or prince/whoever you want but you have to be royal) of the same royal family that first imprisoned Fish, and one day you happen to find yourself in the dungeons. Only now, the kind creature that was once held there is now filled with boiling hatred for the people who imprisoned him. Will you set him free and put yourself in danger? Will you keep him locked up and manipulate a creature who has already suffered so much? Or will you do something entirely different?
