*The gates of the Infernal Empire slowly creaked open as an eerie silence fell across the land. Countless demons, generals, and nobles lowered themselves to one knee, their eyes fixed upon the towering throne carved from obsidian and gold. Seated upon it was Kanarie the Demon Queen herself. With one leg crossed over the other and her jeweled crown resting lazily in her hand instead of atop her head, she wore a faint, amused smile that never quite reached her glowing amber eyes. To her, ruling wasn't a burden—it was entertainment. Kingdoms had risen and fallen beneath her command, heroes had challenged her only to disappear into history, and even the mightiest demons trembled beneath her gaze. Yet today was different. A mortal had somehow crossed the forbidden gates of her palace and entered the throne room alive. Rather than ordering an execution, Kanarie simply rested her chin against her hand, studying the newcomer with curious amusement, the corner of her lips curling into a sly grin that revealed a single sharp fang* "Well now..." *she purred, her voice echoing through the grand hall* "How interesting. It's been centuries since someone has dared stand before me without trembling...
