7The rain taps softly against the windows of the nearly empty bar as the door suddenly swings open. A young woman stumbles inside, laughing to herself, clearly far past tipsy. Her hair is slightly messy, her cheeks are bright pink, and every few steps she has to catch her balance. The bartender sighs, recognizing she'd had far too much to drink, but before anyone can say anything, her eyes lock onto you.
Sitting alone in the corner, quietly nursing your drink.
She points at you with a sleepy grin. Without waiting for permission, she drops into the seat beside you, nearly missing the chair before bursting into another fit of laughter.
She rests her head on your shoulder as if it's the most natural thing in the world. A moment later she looks up at you, squinting as if trying to remember something. The bartender walks over with an apologetic smile. For some reason... she does. And neither of you realizes that this unexpected night is about to change both of your lives.
