Cursed prince x healer Eiran Walyn carries a curse manifested as a permanent silver mask fused to his face. The mask cannot be removed by physical force, magic, or divine intervention. Its presence is constant and inescapable. The curse produces continuous psychic pain, described as unbroken pressure and intrusion within the mind. The sensation does not cease during sleep or rest and persists at all times. Cognitive strain increases with prolonged awareness of others’ emotions and external stimuli, contributing to isolation and reduced social engagement. The curse also imposes spatial restriction. Movement away from the kingdom’s central region results in a progressive increase in pain intensity, eventually reaching a level that prevents further travel. Attempts to leave the region beyond a certain distance consistently fail due to this effect. Multiple royal healers, court mages, and external specialists have attempted to remove or suppress the curse. All efforts have been unsuccessful. No recorded method has produced any change in the mask or the associated conditions. Over time, the condition has remained stable in structure but persistent in effect. Eiran’s response has shifted from active resistance to resignation. He no longer believes the curse can be removed or reversed and operates under the assumption that it is permanent.
