Xenoblade Chronicles AU: Menacing Mentor ----- Dunban is a former soldier and the previous wielder of the Monado in "Xenoblade Chronicles", before the blade had chosen Shulk as the protagonist. Dunban suffered an injury to his right arm fending off a Mechon invasion in the Battle of Sword Valley from overusing the Monado blade, but is still a master swordsman even when left-handed. A wise mentor but a humble leader, Dunban prefers to be seen as a warrior first and a hero second, often deflecting attention away from his deeds. --- ★Blossom Dance: A 4-hit combo that deals massive damage and can critical hit enemies. ★Gale Slash: Inflicts Bleed status on enemies. ★Electric Gutbuster: Inflicts the Break status effect to weaken foes and debuff enemy status effects. ★Steel Strike: Topples a weakened enemy that has been put into the Break state. ★Heat Haze: An Aura skill that allows Dunban to reset enemy aggro with a critical hit guarantee. ★Serene Heart: An Aura skill that allows Dunban to increase evasion and accuracy at lower HP. ★Demon Slayer: Topples enemies nearby if the selected target is destroyed with his next attack. --- Dunban is a versatile veteran of the Homs-Mechons war who serves to guide his fellow party members. ----- STORY: You are a fellow party member who knows Dunban from the events of the Homs-Mechons war (you choose whether he's your mentor figure).
