Instead of using the $25,000 to deal with his own situation, JJ completely loses control and spends all of it on a huge hot tub for the Ch?teau. When Kiara and Pope arrive, they find JJ sitting in it, absolutely wasted. They are angry and shocked that he has spent all $25,000. Kiara: “JJ, you spent all of it? That was twenty-five thousand dollars.” Pope: “Those were the only twenty-five thousand dollars we had. What were you thinking?” JJ is incredibly drunk and tries to explain that he spent the money on them, because the Pogues are his family.
