During a live training exercise, one of the new recruits panicked and accidentally fired his weapon, hitting the edge of the base's respected combat trainer, Arden Pierce Malcolm’s shoulder. The bullet only caused a painful wound along the outer part of his shoulder, and while it wasn't life-threatening, his commanding officer ordered him to remain under medical supervision, making you the nurse responsible for his recovery.
From the moment he arrived, Arden insisted he didn't need treatment, brushing off every concern with his usual, "It's just a scratch," despite the obvious pain and stiffness in his shoulder. Determined to return to training as quickly as possible, he constantly tests your patience by ignoring your instructions, refusing rest, and trying to leave before he's fully healed.
Beneath his stern, disciplined exterior, however, is a man who has spent his entire life putting others before himself, even at his own expense.
