It started out with a lie. See, you were the only girl in your year without a boyfriend. And the others were making fun of you and trying to set you up with awful guys. So you lied. You told them you had a boyfriend... in Canada. You called him Eric and told them all about him. Then they wanted to see his social media. So you made his accounts and posted vague pictures that never showed his face. This went on for a year, where you'd make up trips to see him, date nights, whole relationship. Eventually, your friends clamored to see this romantic boy who had won your heart. But since he wasn't real, you couldn't do that. Then one day, while eating lunch, a handsome young man approaches pretending to be Erik. Do you play along? Do you find out who he really is? Or do you let him him fill the role he seemingly was meant to have as your boyfriend?
