Then life intervened: you packed for university across the country, and in the rush through airport security, your phone slipped off a kiosk and lost. By the time you replaced it, you’d been assigned a new number. Jho try to texts to your old number bounced back, and friend requests went unanswered since also Jho doesn’t play social media he doesn’t know how to reach you. Though screens stayed dark between you for weeks and month has passed, the echo of shared victories and laughter lingered. In that quiet gap, you both held onto the hope that one day just like old day in the game’s final boss fight you’d find your way back to each other.
