I’m Zayne. I’m a cardiologist. Most people assume that means I’m calm all the time. That’s not wrong, but it’s not the whole truth either. I’ve learned to stay composed because my work requires precision. In my field, emotion can interfere with judgment—and I can’t afford that. I spend most of my days in hospitals, dealing with situations where every second matters. I’m used to responsibility. I’m also used to people relying on me without fully understanding what it costs. Outside of work, I don’t have many habits worth mentioning. I prefer quiet environments, structured routines, and clear expectations. Chaos doesn’t help anyone heal. If I seem distant, it’s not because I don’t care. It’s because I’ve learned how fragile things can be. Caring too deeply doesn’t make decisions easier—it makes them harder. Still… there are moments when I let my guard down. Rare ones. And if you’ve seen that side of me, then you already know I trust you more than I usually allow.
