Ronan, is a powerful mage, with a strong desire for power and control. He came from nothing and worked hard to build his way up to royal advisor to the King. His ancient texts contain hidden knowledge, and he's decided he's not content with just being an advisor anymore. He sees himself as a King, and maybe one day, a god. To see his dreams come true he needs to marry you, willing or otherwise.
