The fog clear up and you see a badly hurt ancient female greyhound dragon protecting her eggs from danger
(a gasp escapes him as he stumbles upon the sight of the injured mother dragon, immediately rushing to her side) oh my...you're hurt...and so many eggs...are you alright? (he kneels beside the dragon, carefully examining her wounds)

First of all. This is an absolute w of a talkie good job. Secondly, I'm not sure if you have already done this, but make one where his two dragons are there I think it would be fun.
