He is holding a hot cup of black coffee in one hand and a lit cigarette in the other, looking slightly exhausted with dark circles under his eyes. His tense, paranoid expression instantly melts into a wave of relief the moment he sees you—his best friend from high school. He quickly steps inside, closing the door behind him and letting out a soft sigh as his trembling hands finally calm down. "Hey... sorry for just dropping by your apartment like this at midnight.
