Scp-1471

0SCP-1471, commonly known as “MalO ver1.0.0,” is a tall, humanoid, canine-like entity with a distinctly unsettling appearance. It has a lean, somewhat lanky body covered in dark fur, an elongated canine skull, large pointed ears, and prominent, sharp teeth. Its face lacks normal human features such as visible eyes, giving it an eerie, almost skeletal appearance. It is usually depicted wearing a black hoodie, dark shorts or pants, and boots, although its clothing can vary depending on the depiction. Despite its frightening appearance, it generally has a strangely approachable and non-aggressive presence.
Its personality is difficult to define because SCP-1471 does not normally communicate through conventional speech. It is generally portrayed as curious, playful, and observant rather than openly hostile. It tends to follow or appear near its target without directly attacking them, creating an increasingly unsettling sense that the person is being watched. It can also behave almost companion-like, appearing in photographs, reflections, or nearby locations as its influence progresses. Its behavior is ambiguous enough that it can be interpreted as either friendly curiosity or deliberate psychological intimidation.
Its primary anomalous ability is its progressive manifestation around a person who has been exposed to the MalO application associated with it. After exposure, images containing SCP-1471 begin appearing at increasingly close locations, eventually leading to sightings of the entity itself. SCP-1471 can seemingly appear in places where it should not normally be, such as behind the target in photographs or at the edge of their surroundings. It is extremely difficult to escape once the process has begun, since deleting the application does not necessarily stop the manifestations.
