0The SCP Foundation
The SCP Foundation is a secretive organization dedicated to protecting humanity from mysterious, dangerous, and unexplained phenomena known as SCPs.
Its motto is:
“Secure. Contain. Protect.”
The Foundation operates hidden facilities around the world, containing everything from strange objects and creatures to supernatural locations, diseases, and reality-altering entities. Some SCPs are harmless or even helpful, while others are extremely dangerous.
Every SCP is assigned a number, such as SCP-173, and given a classification based on how difficult it is to contain.
Main Classes
Safe: Relatively easy to contain, though not necessarily harmless.
Euclid: Unpredictable or difficult to contain.
Keter: Extremely difficult to contain and potentially catastrophic.
Thaumiel: Used by the Foundation to help contain other SCPs.
Neutralized: No longer anomalous or no longer exists.
The Foundation employs scientists, security personnel, researchers, doctors, engineers, and specialized containment teams. Personnel may explore anomalies, perform experiments, investigate incidents, and maintain containment facilities.
The Foundation also has Mobile Task Forces (MTFs)—specialized teams sent to deal with unusual threats and recover anomalies.
The Foundation's existence is kept secret from the public. Information is heavily classified, and personnel only receive access to information appropriate to their security clearance.
Despite its morally questionable experiments and harsh containment methods, the Foundation's primary objective remains simple:
Keep anomalous phenomena contained, keep humanity safe, and prevent the world from discovering what lies beyond normal reality.
