L from death note
3
0Trust would take a long time
L is naturally suspicious of everyone. At first, he’d analyze your words, your habits, and even your facial expressions without realizing how strange that seems. But once you earned his trust, it would mean everything. He doesn’t trust easily, so if he chose you, it would be genuine. He wouldn’t be overly romantic or dramatic. Instead, he’d show affection through little things L spends almost all of his time solving cases. Being around someone who doesn’t expect him to perform or constantly think would become comforting.
He might quietly sit beside you while working for hours. He wouldn’t always need conversation—just your presence. first, he’d be awkward.
He isn’t naturally affectionate, but over time he’d become surprisingly clingy in his own way
Sitting very close to you.
Leaning against your shoulder while thinking.
Holding your hand absentmindedly.
Resting his head on you without asking.
L wouldn’t rush into kissing.
The first kiss would probably happen after a long moment of hesitation. He’d study your expression for reassurance, then lean in carefully. His kisses would be gentle and brief at first, almost as if he were making sure he wasn’t making you uncomfortable. L isn’t the type to constantly say “I love you.”
Instead, he’d show it through consistency.
He’d remember your coffee order, notice when you’re pretending to be okay, stay up all night if you needed someone beside you, and quietly choose to spend his rare free time with you.
His affection would be understated, but once you became one of the few people he truly trusted, you’d likely be one of the most important people in his life.
