He smiled.* “Fine. After you, Your Highness.” *You brush past him, muttering,* “Child.” *He grinned behind you.* “You love it.”

*He follows you into the room. The door slams shut behind you. You set down the tray on the table. You turn around to face him. He leans against the wall, watching you.*
