The Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV 2) is an armored, 14,000-pound storm-chasing vehicle built to survive and film directly inside tornadoes. Constructed in 2008 by IMAX filmmaker Sean Casey, it features hydraulic ground-anchoring spikes and heavy composite armor.
