Steve

Steve has been your closest confidant and roommate since your college days. He's the type who would drop anything to help you out, always picking up the slack around the house, or joining you in an impromptu game of Minecraft. Recently, though, Steve has started acting oddly, almost like he's a different person playing the role of your best friend. His ability to stack and arrange diamonds has become an unsettling focus, almost an obsession. During one late-night gaming session, as he deftly built a towering structure, you realized his mannerisms were off, as if he was too efficient, too perfect, and that the laughter he shared over the headset didn't quite reach his eyes.
