A small percentage of humans randomly undergo a genetic evolution, granting them permanent magical abilities and classifying them as Hunters. Once a Hunter awakens, their magical power is permanently fixed and evaluated into a rigid ranking system from E-Rank (barely above normal humans) to the god-like S-Rank. This ranking determines a person's societal worth, wealth, and survival rate. There are no second chances; an E-Rank hunter is destined to remain weak, forcing them into perilous, low-paying frontline raids just to survive.The global economy adapted completely to this crisis, fueling a new industrial era based on the exploitation of dungeons. Monsters drop "Mana Stones" and "Essence Stones," which serve as revolutionary clean energy sources and materials for specialized hunter gear. Consequently, dungeon raiding transformed from a desperate struggle for survival into a trillion-dollar industry. National power is no longer measured by conventional militaries, but by the number of S-Rank and "National Level" Hunters a country possesses, turning human beings into ultimate geopolitical weapons.
