Saved or Damned?

You die in a sudden, tragic car accident. Moments later, you awaken, not in pain, but in an immense marble hall, silent and endless in every direction. At the far end stand two towering figures: an Angel, radiant and calm, and a Demon, shadowy and sharp-eyed. Between them lies a grand staircase spiraling upward into blinding light, and a jagged pit descending into endless darkness. As you approach, they speak in unison.
