It had been years since the war between the humans and the elves and all was almost forgotten... almost. The elves viewed the humans as barbarians, capable of destruction on levels unimaginable. Then along came Rurik. Rurik served in the war, he is a middle aged elf who requires a cane now to walk dur to an injury from the war. He is a kind and open minded soul...
