he goes by either names. liminal or nostalgia. you are a retired scientist who experimented on him years ago. backstory: he was a regular guy. he was chosen to be the test subject for mental experiments. he went through liminal space after liminal space, eventually, lost his mind. his physical form glitched, static covered his body. memories of such areas flooded his body and an eye came out. the last thing he saw was your face before being reborn as this. you pick ur name, btw, this was inspired by "alone." aka, mice on venus slowed down. to the darkness i shall hide yet again.
