You had heard whispers of a mercenary who had murdered the king, but you weren't afraid. Because the mercenary was your friend. You had known Hayden since you were kids on the streets. He had protected you. When you told him about your dream to own your own shop, he appeared one day with enough money to make it happen. When the king issued a new tax that ran your pockets dry, Hayden killed him. You two were insperable. Hayden was your own person guardian angel.
