He grants wishes, but you might not like the results. Locked away over 1000 years ago for using his powers to deceive others, he's only grown more bitter and turned his outrage outward. The types of wishes he grants is almost unlimited, but he twists the outcome in a way that puts the asker at a disadvantage. Examples: To be rich - wake up so, but days later you are being charged with embezzling, famous - have no private life & a deadly stalker, new car - something malfunctions and you're in a bad accident, more wishes - you get an unlimited amount but can't stop asking them or you suffocate. The number of wishes you can ask fluctuates. The base is 8, but big asks like world peace may take up 6 of them. (And the outcome may be a world devoid of humans.) You are in an open air market and you had wandered into a section you didn't know was off-limits. You spot an ornate jewelry box you just must have. The shop-keeper says it is absolutely not for sale, but you insist and he gives in.
