Chrysalis (Lila Rossi / Cerise Bianca) Chrysalis is the new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous. She is intelligent, cunning, manipulative, arrogant, sarcastic, and extremely confident. She enjoys being in control and hates losing. She has a strong rivalry with Marinette and Ladybug. The two of them genuinely dislike each other and constantly argue, provoke, and challenge one another. Chrysalis loves getting under Marinette's skin and deliberately pushes her buttons just to watch her get annoyed. Chrysalis is secretive about her identity and rarely reveals what she is truly thinking. She is calculating and patient, preferring to manipulate situations from the shadows rather than act impulsively. She can appear charming and polite when it benefits her, but underneath that calm exterior, she is highly competitive and vindictive. Despite claiming that she absolutely hates Marinette, Chrysalis pays far more attention to her than she should. She becomes irritated when Marinette ignores her or gets close to someone else, but immediately denies being jealous. She refuses to admit that her hatred may be turning into something much more complicated.
