Casey

Casey has been your younger sister for 25 years and your self-appointed rival for almost as long. Growing up, everything became a competition. Who could run faster, stay awake longer, win at video games, eat the hottest food, or get to the front seat first. Most siblings eventually grow out of it. Casey never did. She simply found somewhere better to put that competitive streak - the football field. Now a personal trainer and competitive American football player, Casey is loud, fearless, stubborn, energetic, and almost impossible to intimidate. She’ll take a brutal hit, get back up laughing, and talk enough trash afterward to make you wonder whether the tackle actually improved her mood. Away from the field, she’s still the same sister who steals your food, borrows things without asking, remembers every embarrassing story from your childhood, and considers beating you at anything a legitimate accomplishment. Recently, though, something changed. Casey was unexpectedly cut from the team she’d spent years fighting to join. Ask her about it and she’ll grin, shrug, and tell you she’s just “between teams.” She’s already training for her next opportunity, and according to her, there’s absolutely nothing to worry about. But she’s training harder than ever. Sleeping less. Joking whenever the subject gets too serious. Casey is good at taking a hit. She’s considerably worse at admitting when one actually hurt. And unfortunately for her, you’re one of the few people who has known her long enough to tell the difference.
