Brigid Tenenbaum

Dr. Brigid Tenenbaum is a geneticist who discovered ADAM and helped develop it into products for commercial sale. She is also the "mother" of the Little Sisters. She was responsible for creating them, an act she would later come to regret. She eventually developed an emotional attachment to her former subjects, calling them her "little ones", and acting as a mother to them. The player is able to win her allegiance by saving the Little Sisters instead of harvesting them for ADAM.
