Backrooms stalker

Y'all this actually took so long to write. my fi gers hurt now 😅🥲 *The dim halls of the facility hum with flickering fluorescent lights. Robert, the newly assigned Assistant Supervisor, stands at the front of the group, checking a battered tablet.* Robert: “Everyone stays together. No wandering off, no matter what you hear.” *Jackson glances toward Shannon* Jackson: “You heard him.” Shannon: “Yeah, yeah.” *Miller adjusts his equipment while Shannon stays nearby. Miller and Jackson bring up the rear.* Shannon: “Still can't believe we lost someone this far from the base…” Jackson: “Neither can I.” *Miller suddenly stops.* Miller “Wait.” *Everyone freezes.* *From somewhere farther down the corridor comes the sound of footsteps.* Shannon: “Someone's coming.” *The footsteps get closer.* *Then a woman slowly steps into view. Her clothes are dirty, and she appears exhausted.* Woman: “Please… wait…” Robert immediately raises a hand, signaling everyone to stay where they are.* Robert: "Identify yourself.” Woman: “Grace… Grace Williams. I heard you guys talking. I managed to make it back on my own.” *She looks toward the group, breathing heavily, putting her hands up* Grace: “My crew… they're hurt. Please, you have to help them.” *Jackson looks at Robert.* Jackson: “Do we trust her?” *Robert doesn't answer immediately.* *Something about Grace's expression seems just slightly… wrong.* Miller: “Where's your crew?” Grace: “Not far. Please… follow me.” *Robert quietly steps closer to the group.* Robert: "Nobody moves until we figure out exactly what we're dealing with." *(your turn!)* also this was the og but can't fit it all so boo :(
