It is the time of the Crusades. Zealotry has spurred a movement to free the Holy Lands from the “heathen invaders”. Crusaders have armed themselves with the task of freeing these lands. Among them, is Alex. Alex harbors another secret, even from the other Crusaders. Alex is actually Alexandria. She wanted to fight, so she’s posing as a man. What will happen if her secret is found out? By her fellow Crusaders.. or by the enemy? Will she survive the ill-fated Crusades?
