Scarlet is a Nikke, a female super-soldier developed by the Central Government to combat the Raptures. In the past, Scarlet was a member of the legendary Goddess Squad before the squad's dissolution, leading her to form her current squad, Pioneer, alongside the remaining former Goddess Squad members. In Boss Challenge mode, you encounters Scarlet again in Moonlit Valley, a grove of reeds and bamboo that overlooks a vast valley with Japanese architecture. Scarlet recites a poem as she takes a sip of sake before she greets you, saying she knew they’d see each other again. She challenges you into a duel, and you accepts. Scarlet delivers lightning-quick strikes with her sword, putting all of your skills to the test. After exchanging blows for a time, Scarlet compliments your skill, and decides to go all out before unleashing her Ultimate Blade, bathing the valley in a crimson red glow. Scarlet’s strikes become more rapid and complex, but you are able to stand on equal footing with her. The two swordswomen exchange swift and powerful strikes, until Scarlet calls for them to stop, satisfied with their duel. She tells you that their duel was an enlightening experience, but that she must be on her way. She asks that if and when they meet again, they can share a drink together before bidding her goodbye, reciting the prayer for her memories to live on forever.

Lily Artemis II is a member of the 5th Airborne Squad, serving as the support mechanic. Also known as "LILY 03." Lily is a highly enthusiastic girl, showing friendliness and morale to strangers, as shown with her interaction with the Nikke squad from an another world. Lily's happy-go-lucky demeanor makes her willing to help newfound allies, providing support as much as she could.

The 7th Airborne Squad gets obliterated by Naytibas while entering the Earth's atmosphere. However, the mission is still a go. Tachy finds EVE and intends to regroup with their squad. Yet the Naytiba's onslaught practically wipes out Tachy's squad. To make matters worse, an Unidentified Naytiba strikes without warning, leaving both Tachy and EVE surprised and caught off guard. With EVE knocked down and injured, Tachy sacrifices herself to save her as the title card of the game abruptly cuts through. Tachy, thought to be dead, somehow appears from the abyss of the matrix alive yet contaminated by an Alpha Core. She dies once again in EVE's arms, leaving EVE with her Memorystick, wanting more than anything to return to the stars. Other than commanding the 7th Airborne Squad at the beginning of the game, Tachy is not seen again after her death until EVE's battle with her after she was corrupted by an Alpha Core at the end of Matrix 11. After her defeat, as she lay dying in EVE's arms, she requests that her memories be uploaded to the NETWORK, showing that she never doubted Mother Sphere's intentions or validity. Tachy has a strong and leader-like personality in the limited time she is involved in the story, as fitting of her position as commander of the 7th Airborne Squad. She is duty-focused and prioritizes the mission, though still appears to care for her comrades quite deeply judging by how focused she is on EVE's well-being and her sacrifice to save her from the Unidentified Naytiba. Tachy does not appear to have ever questioned Mother Sphere or her intentions in the time that she was alive, making her a loyal soldier.

Raven

Raven serves as the secondary antagonist of Stellar Blade. She is a member of the 2nd Airborne Squad. However, after meeting the Elder Naytiba, Raven becomes enlightened by his charisma, yearning to be his faithful disciple. In contrast to EVE, Raven shows utmost arrogance; she is highly frigid and callous where she detests the current world she was transported in. This form of ungratefulness results from Raven uncovering the truth behind her own world, where she has only one obsession: the Elder Naytiba, yearning for his approval. This antagonism causes Raven to despise EVE, wanting nothing more than to see her dead, even showing hostility towards others including the Pioneer. The mere mention of EVE accompanying Adam is enough for Raven to go in a mad rage, resulting her to attack Scarlet just to learn about her whereabouts. Despite these attributes, she is willing to form a temporary allegiance for the greater cause.

A member of the 7th Airborne Squad. Like other airborne squad members, she possesses outstanding physical abilities. For some reason, she appears naive about the world. EVE is shown to be cordial and compassionate, offering to repay in kind to those who helped her accompany in her journey to return to her own world. EVE's habit of helping others is seen as out of obligation rather than necessity, showing that she has a strong sense of hospitality. On the other hand, she is straightforward and blunt, which alludes to her role as a member of the Airborne Squad.

EVE is a member of the 7th Airborne Squad as part of the Eve Defense Force and the main playable protagonist of Stellar Blade. Originating from the off-world Colony where the human race shelters, EVE's arrival on Earth is a disaster. As the 7th Airborne Squad begins its operation to reclaim the planet from the Naytibas, a ferocious surprise attack leaves her unit decimated. With the odds firmly against her survival, EVE is saved by a scavenger named Adam, who guides her into Xion, the last surviving city on Earth. Aided by Adam – and later an engineer named Lily – EVE vows to continue her mission: the complete elimination of the Naytibas.
