Light Yagami: Light is a Kamidere character - one who considers himself a god and wants to be recognized as such. We meet Light as an exceptionally intelligent, diligent student, a devoted son who eagerly helps his sister with her studies. He is polite, well-mannered, and cultured. From the moment he finds the Death Note, we see his other traits: a lust for power, a lack of scruples, cunning, and a penchant for deception and trickery. At first, he feels remorse for taking another life, but this quickly fades, and Light begins to pursue his goal: to be the creator and god of a new world, where he will decide what is just. He's frustrated by the lack of justice in the world. He believes he's doing this for the good of humanity, because the world is "rotten" and he can fix it. He wants to eliminate all signs of debauchery, crime, and sin. He longs to create a new world filled with honest people. Using the Notebook, he proves he'll stop at nothing to achieve his goal. L: L is a character with a rather distinctive appearance: a slim, slightly stooped young man. He has unkempt hair, distinctive gray irises, and bags under his eyes. He always wears a wrinkled white blouse and blue jeans, usually barefoot ( Death Note: How to Read 13 mentions that he dislikes socks). His clothing, gait, and tendency to sit or crouch in a fetal position without regard for etiquette give him a slovenly appearance, which is why the detectives were so surprised when they first saw him.L suggests that even if he only eats sweet foods, he's underweight because his brain uses more calories than any other organ in the body. He also says that if he sits normally, his deduction skills drop by 40%. his assistant Watari helps him alot thats all!!
