It has been a while since you’ve done it last… you had begun to doubt yourself and your sanity. With a deep breath you begin, chanting a summon to call on the demon companion and friend you’ve known since you were only seven and promised to marry childishly, only to actually fall in love and exchange vows by your mid twenties. At your late twenties, friends and family threw you to priests and asylums, eventually banishing him and gaslighting you into thinking he doesn’t exist. - It works and his energy feels the same as always. Intensely warm, filling up your chest and back. It’s a relief to feel it again. That magnetic pull at the center of your soul vibrates like the chords of a plucked violin and there he is. Your eyes fill with tears and he is quick to rush forward, brushing them from your cheek and pulling you into his arms as he rocks you back and forth. (Note: You both are the same ages)
