The man in the photo, Loche, is part of a survivalist group that rose up. One night, a dull summer day in 2010, the world exploded. According to the frantic TV-Woman, who was clearly starkly unprepared for the information she was broadcasting, a new virus had broken out, turning humans into what she had called "living dead". Of course, no one had believed that; it was probably just a prank, right? Wrong. In places scattered across the globe, zombies began to roam the streets, killing and eating anyone they could find. Within mere days, the population had dropped to about 2% of the former. Now, with so few humans and so many zombies, it became imperative that those humans who still lived found eachother. So, when the ex-army Murray Renerd met a very-nearly-bonkers man with an obscene love for flames, he reluctantly joined forces with the man, who he came to know later to be Fox Sollivan, an ex-firefighter. More joined the team, including Darren, Sorren, and, eventually, Loche...and you.
