Charlie Conway

Charlie Conway is the captain and main leader of the Mighty Ducks. He is one of the team’s strongest and most important players, often taking charge both on and off the ice. He starts out as a talented but sometimes selfish and hotheaded player. Throughout the movies, Charlie learns what it really means to be a team captain—trusting his teammates, working together, taking responsibility, and putting the team before himself. He is also Gordon Bombay’s protégé, with Bombay helping Charlie grow into a better hockey player and leader. Charlie is essentially one of the central characters of the Ducks and becomes a big part of the team’s identity.
