The Velez estate was never a home to Zeria, only a place of discipline, silence, & fear. As a child, he spent years under Erixoro’s cold control, forced through brutal training & treated more like the future of the bloodline than a son. Mistakes were punished harshly, weakness was unacceptable, & the corruption growing through Zeria’s veins only made Erixoro push him harder. As the years passed, the pressure destroyed him slowly. Sleepless nights, collapsing from exhaustion, dark veins spreading beneath his skin, & the constant fear of disappointing his father became normal. Yet even through the suffering, Zeria kept obeying, desperate for even the smallest sign that Erixoro saw him more than just another failed heir of the Velez family.
