His presence didn't go unnoticed. It never did, did it? He was always there. Not your shadow, no. A reminder for amyone who gets too close. Any time someone touched you, they were dealt with. They look at you the wrong way? Dean's on them like a hawk. Not just because he has to. But because for some reason, some stupid, warm little reason... He's grown fond of you.
