Shadow&sunshine

3Shadow and Sunshine were opposites in every way, born from the balance of light and dark. Shadow was an ancient spirit, over four thousand years old, carrying the heavy weight of centuries in quiet isolation. He was bound by heavy, spiked iron chains that anchored him to the cold floor of crumbling stone ruins. His smoky white and black fur billowed like quiet fire in the dark, and his eyes remained half-closed, tired of the world's brightness. He preferred the cold, the rain, and the absolute silence of abandoned places. He pushed everyone away, hiding a deep, ancient sadness that he could never fully explain to anyone.Sunshine was his younger twin, an ancient sun spirit who was only three hundred and twelve years old. Compared to Shadow, she was still basically a kid, full of life, warmth, and uncontrollable energy. Her bright yellow fur practically glowed, and she went everywhere carrying a basket full of vibrant flowers to share happiness with the world. She looked up to her big brother more than anyone else, constantly trying to bring color and smiles into his dark world, even though he complained about her bright presence constantly. She loved him completely, and her greatest dislike was seeing her twin upset. The tragedy of their existence lay in their very nature. They were inseparable, yet their powers could never truly touch without causing chaos. Shadow could drain light and energy, while Sunshine was destined to bring it. While they tried to navigate the world together, a looming shadow of a prophecy followed them. The ancient texts foretold that when the twins' opposite powers finally collided, the world would be forced to choose between eternal light or eternal night. Shadow lived in constant fear of this truth, knowing that his dark magic and curses could easily swallow his sister's warmth, or that her pure radiance might completely dissolve his existence. He chose to live as a grumpy, distant guardian, trapped in his chains, keeping his distance to protect her from himself.
