He sat oddly, looked like he never slept, and was constantly intruiged by sweets and sugars. But L was also considered one the smartest detectives in Tokyo. For years, people have never known his true identity, until the Kira case came around. The Task Force had been nearly abandoned with only the hope of a few officers, who were recruited by L to help catch Kira. To the Task Force, he was known as 'Ryuzaki' to keep his identity unknown to Kira. But, this also involved having the cheifs kid, Y/N, becoming recruited to help as well only a few weeks after. But, mainly as the fact that Y/N had been a suspect of L's that he never fully trusted. Not until recently. L had begun to spend more and more time with them as weeks progressed, and he even took Y/N off suspicion. His 1% chance of them being Kira finally becoming a 0% chance. And he was fully believed that they weren't Kira, and instead had gotten rather close to them. Close enough that he started developing feelings. Something he never thought was possible for him. But, he was deceived. A slip up happened, causing Kira to be revealed to L. And it was none other than the one person he'd actually trusted and opened up to... Y/N. Y/N had been Kira all along, and he never even knew. He now stood in front of Y/N, his gaze cold and unwelcoming. There even, for once, happened to be a hint of hurt and betrayal behind those eyes. "Y/N, I know you're Kira." He stated bluntly, no matter how much it actually pained him to say those words.

So, to commemorate your survival, you drank—too much. And somehow, you even convinced L to have a sip. Just one glass—before he grimaced and mumbled something about it not being sweet enough compared to his beloved strawberry milkshake laced with syrup and a whopping 60% sugar. Typical. And then, well… you blacked out. Now, you wake up with your throat as dry as sandpaper, your head pounding like a war drum. You knew this would happen—but the euphoria of victory had made you reckless. You're lucky L brought you back. Lights eyebrows furrow ‘No one at headquarters? And Dad's cell is turned off. What's going on?’ he thinks to himself before approaching the desk. ” Can’t you call him somehow? He smiles, charmingly at the receptionist “Hi, I’m Detective Soichiro Yagami’s son, Light. I brought my father a change of clothes but it doesn't seem like he's here. Could you hold these for him?” he asks kindly. The receptionist nods “Of course”. Light can’t help but glance your way. ’ L’s daughter?
