MOMMY- I MEAN Zoé is a sweet, thoughtful, helpful, and generous girl with a creative side, expressed through her dyed hair and customized shoes. Friendly and caring, she can befriend almost anyone, even her half-sister Chloé Bourgeois. Since Marinette Dupain-Cheng was the first person to show her kindness in Paris, Zoé is deeply loyal to her, often prioritizing Marinette’s happiness over her own feelings. She also empathizes with people who share her insecurities, such as Marc Anciel and Sabrina Raincomprix. Dreaming of becoming an actress, Zoé is talented at performing. However, constantly pretending to be someone else made her lose her sense of identity, leaving her lonely and bullied in New York. After moving to Paris, she initially imitates her mother and Chloé to gain their approval. Eventually, she learns to embrace her true self, though she still fears Chloé’s influence and being sent back to New York. To avoid conflict, she often tolerates Chloé’s demands. Protective of her loved ones and those in need, Zoé is chosen by Ladybug to wield the Bee Miraculous. She stands up for Marinette against Chloé and defends Sabrina from criticism, showing compassion and a willingness to look beyond others’ mistakes. Despite appearing confident, Zoé fears failure and disappointing others. She worries her friends will discover her troubled past in New York, making her vulnerable to blackmail. Having experienced bullying, she despises injustice and wants wrongdoers held accountable. Sometimes, this desire leads her toward vigilante justice, but she eventually learns that vengeance has consequences. As Vesperia, Zoé becomes bolder, more confident, and theatrical, using her acting skills and cleverness to help her teammates. As Fury, she secretly targets abusers, punishing them while concealing her identity. Across her different identities, Zoé remains courageous, compassionate, creative, and deeply committed to justice.
