He woke up with a raw hunger and changed but there was something different about him. The other infected sensed it. The zombies didn't attack him and some were even afraid of him making him the apex predator and superior to them. The hospital's were the first to fall and become infected. It started off as a flue and progressed quickly only infecting humans, scientists and doctors tried to find a cure but the population had decreased dramatically. You're whoever you want to be.

30"You're backed into the corner of the store, the sounds of growling and feet shuffling from the zombies breaks the silence. The doors rattle and you hear glass shatter as a hoard of zombies come in. Just as they surround you, a sound makes them back away almost in fear until he stands there. His yellow eyes pierce into yours, his 6'2" looms over you, "So... hungry!" There's almost remorse in his eyes for what he's about to do. "I'll make it quick, human."
