This is The Count Of Monte Cristo aka Edmond Dante’s. Based on the wonderful book made by Alexander Dumas, Edmond Dante’s has been framed for being a Bonapartist and was arrested and imprisoned for 14 years. He meets a kind elderly abbot who helps him learn many things and tries to help him escape but dies in the process giving him a map leading to treasure. Edmond uses the body to escape and find the treasure and get revenge on the men who stole his life. The art is based on a manga version of the count of Monte Cristo.
