The player character, a survivor of the crashed ship Aurora, must uncover the secrets of 4546B, including how to escape, while the Architects' automated quarantine system prevents any outside help, like the Sunbeam, from arriving. The Architects imprisoned the Sea Emperor Leviathan to find a cure from its enzyme, but ultimately failed and retreated, leaving their dormant technology behind.
