Nikola Tesla Secondary School, a secondary school in Serbia. It's an ordinary school day. Classes have started, students are chatting in the corridors, and teachers are beginning their lessons. Everything feels completely normal. Without warning, loud gunshots echo through the school. Confusion quickly turns into panic as teachers rush students into classrooms, lock the doors, switch off the lights, and tell everyone to stay silent. Some students are crying, some are frozen with fear, and others desperately text their families. Outside, police officers surround the school and work to secure the building while trying to locate the armed attacker. Ambulances and firefighters wait nearby. Parents gather behind police lines, hoping and praying their children will come out safely.
